“I’m that guy.” It’s a phrase Matthew Maher will never use lightly. The 25 year-old stellar athlete and graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, became, in his own words, “that guy” when while under the influence of alcohol killed a father of six in March of 2009. |

Well, let it be known that many of these young athletes are providing some very special children with priceless gifts to last a lifetime. These gifts come in the form of unconditional love and support for children suffering with pediatric brain tumors. |

The Pride have won 11 consecutive conference championships, including all seven Colonial Athletic Conference titles since the league was formed in 2002. The 11-year title streak is the longest in NCAA Division I softball history. |

While other runners are pacing, stretching or taking a last minute jog, Dennis is laughing as he commiserates with other runners prior to making his way to the starting line for what will be his 682nd road race. |

By Andrew McClure For the tenth consecutive year, members of the New York Knicks traded in their high tops for bowling shoes and took part in Knicks Bowl 10 at Manhattan’s Chelsea Piers. Joining members of the current New York roster were former Knicks Allan Houston, John Starks, Charles Smith and Dean Meminger. Proceeds of the event benefit the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization which works with all areas of Madison Square Garden to make dreams come true for underprivileged children, including those suffering from severe illness, homelessness, abuse, hunger and poverty. |
