Jets Fans Make Their QB Choice

Fans of the New York Jets are always hopeful in August. However, this season Green & White backers are caught up in the ongoing battle for starting quarterback between highly-touted rookie Mark Sanchez and 2006 draft pick Kellen Clemens. Most fans are leaning toward the kid from Southern Cal.

Friends Sammy Cowan and Jaru Poussaint of Hempstead, and Charles Wilson of Elmont enjoyed getting together at to get a peek at the 2009 Jets. Jaru Poussaint likes both quarterbacks, but believes Sanchez has the edge. He trusts that Coach Ryan will make the right choice.
 
Shelby Tancer of Hicksville and David Goldfarb of Hempstead put their heads together and decided on some stylish hats for the Jets return to their old training camp site at Hofstra. Both believe that without a doubt Sanchez will be the starter.

Keith Bunyan and son Daequan made the trek from Jamaica, NY to check out Gang Green. Keith, a long-time Jets fan, believes Sanchez will be the guy.
 
Friends Joe MacEachen, Joe Pezzuto and Peter Lerch, all of East Rockaway, were happy to be able to see the Jets back on Long Island if for only a day. They are all looking for Sanchez to be the starter to turn the franchise around.

Hofstra freshmen Jamaul Boswell of Uniondale, Tyler McFarlane of Westchester and Carlton Koonce of Lumberton, NJ took in the workout. McFarlane and Koonce see Sanchez as the starter, but Boswell wasn’t as quick to give him the nod.
 
Max Blondman, Evan Blondman, Brett Schneider and Spencer Blondman came over from Great Neck to get a look at the team’s new make up. All four just want the guy who does the best job in camp to be the starter. They just want the team to have
