Red Storm Lacrosse Prepare For Tough Schedule

Entering his fourth season at the helm of the St. John’s lacrosse team, head coach Jason Miller believes this year’s team could be one of his best. Returning the entire starting close defense unit and several offensive producers who were sidelined with injury last year, Miller has good reason to be optimistic. The Red Storm will have plenty of opportunity to showcase its talent this season against one of the nation’s toughest schedules in the newly formed BIG EAST Lacrosse Conference.

Here’s how Tommy Davis spent a recent early spring day: Taking classes at Princeton University, attending a practice with the school’s lacrosse team, then squeezing in an interview with a reporter prior to an evening’s worth of studying, which included working on his senior thesis titled “Impact of British Tax Legislation on the Behavior of Colonial Merchants in New York.”
