The St. John's men's basketball program and first-year head coach Steve Lavin will be featured Monday night on Madison Square Garden Network's "The Game: 365."
Host Fran Healy takes fans behind the scenes of the St. John's program as the Red Storm continues its return toward national prominence. The half-hour television show airs Monday night at 9:30 p.m. on the MSG Network. During the show, Healy takes an in-depth look at Lavin’s upbringing in the San Francisco Bay area, his professional career and his path to St. John’s. The duo also discusses the Red Storm's long-standing tradition on the hardwood and recent program history, and Healy joins Lavin for a tour of “The World’s Most Famous Arena” and a conversation regarding the current state of the Red Storm program. Healy, a former catcher for eight seasons in the major leagues, holds the distinction of being one of the only announcers to have covered two baseball franchises in the same city – the Yankees and Mets. He hosts “The Game: 365” and “Halls of Fame” on the MSG Network. The episode will also be available online after its air date free-of-charge in RedStormSports.com’s StormTracker All-Access Video On-Demand player. |
